I have started work on my new Megadrive game! When I do quite a lot of it I'll send some screenshots of it.

Update: It will be a SegaCD ISO and a BIN file, the SegaCD version will contain MP3 music, as the Genesis version has no music.

You sure the sega cd can read mp3 files, I know it can read WAV as thats the standard for audio but the CD might lack the CPU power to decode and run the formatte.

It should... since Sonic CD uses mp3 and when I put mp3's in the same directory as the iso, they play.

I may have misunderstood that but are you saying they had Mp3 audio formats way back in the mid-late 90`s?
I am not sure if that is possible since the CPU power required to decode them would have been a great amount of CPU power. But maybe you are talking about a different type of way to get your games.
Either way, I do not think the system has enough CPU power to run a Mp3 decoder in the background and display graphics and the such for the game simultaniously (sp?).
When in Japan with access to just about every system ever made and those that have yet to see international soil, gather your forces, and make the cool ones your own.

The coder I was using said to put Mp3's in the directory and they will play while the game is running, but they burn to CD's anyway as CDA files, so they still work as them.
