A new wooden frame alternative to vac-forming

Well, I'm almost ready to vacuum form and I made my wooden frames to sandwich a peice of plastic in the middle to bake in the oven. In order to keep it secure and make sure the plastic doesn't move around too much I used an alternative instead of screwing in stuff or using lock down clamps. I used Velcro woot! I have to say it secures the plastic and frames quite well. I'm pretty sure it will work nicely, and hopefully wont melt when I melt the plastic. I may take pics when I'm not too lazy
