Plastic/bent aluminum method-aluminum=???

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

Plastic/bent aluminum method-aluminum=???

Post by CronoTriggerfan »

I'm considering using styrene and bent aluminum for my next portable case; however, I HATE working with that aluminum, and Ben's acrylic wall method is quite pricy. Does anyone know what else one could use to cover the siding, while still being sturdy and professional looking?

Thanks,

Well.. I came up with a neat method that uses channel aluminum for the sides and plexiglass for the top and bottom. It was very sturdy and didn't cost too much (the channel aluminum was kinda pricy though)
If you're interested in this I could show the cases I made.
