DC-DC problems

DC-DC problems

i have a ti DC-DC this one and i am trying to regulate a 12 volt battery down to any voltage that will power my psone screen. i have it all wired up and before i wire my screen up the voltage reads ~8 or close to 7 but after i wire up my screen the voltage drops to about 3, i am charging my battery to see if it will help but i dont understand why it is not working i wired it ecaxtly like i did in my GCp except i had 14.4 volts going in.[/url]

how do u adjust the output?

With an rSET resistor. In this case a 8.11kΩ to a 6kΩ resistor would be in order.

Do you have any voltages crossing? Such as the 7.5 line crossing a 3.3v line?

thanks for the help skyone, but i made a pretty stupid mistake :oops: i assumed one part of the pot i was using was touching the other so i soldered all my stuff to that one part, so all i had to do was bridge it and its cool now :) thanks though
