SNES UnPortable
I know this may sound weird, but I'm doing the opposite of making things portable.
I have two projects in mind. One is to gut a GBA SP and stuff it into the body of a TI-83 calculator.
The other is to put a Super Nintendo into an old VCR (or, if I can find one, a BETA player). If you have any info that could help me, that'd be great. Like how to work with the parts of the old VCR so that I can connect the SNES strait to the TV, and run them both off of the same power. I also need to know how to make them start with the same power button.
Thanks.
P.S. I have NO experience with soldering, so please be simple.[/quote]

Backlight Would Be Easy
You can buy cheap kits that were made for the GBA back before the SP came out.

It's an old player that was the only competition for VHS. It was arguably better than VHS, but I think that VHS was cheaper and became the standard. Thus, the early death of BETA. It's the kindof thing we might see coming between HDDVD and Blue Ray.Unidentified Assilant wrote:What the hell is a BETA player? I'm mildly intrested for my TV/Freeview/VCR/DVD Handheld

Anyways, atm I'm thinking that Blue Ray is going to beat out HDDVD, but then again you never know.
