Parts - where can I buy one at a time?

Post by Hackyman »

I have searched the threads, but can't find any info. Ben's site says you can purchase single parts from Mouser, but some parts have a minimum ordeer of 1000. Anybody know where you can buy single parts? Tanks!

If you're going mail-order - I like http://www.glitchbuster.com/ because there are no minimums, $1.95 shipping per order and prices are much better than Radio Shack

some places (many in fact) will give away samples, which is basically between 1 and 5 of a certain part. they do this because they think that by giving one to a customer they are more likely to buy the same part in bulk. While this is very true for someone that is actually shopping for bulk parts, you can take advantage by ordering a sample or two from various parts stores.
