Do smaller LCD equal lesser quality...

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Do smaller LCD equal lesser quality...

Post by riva16 »

Just wondering becuase i see a lot of people using those weak 3" LCD from pocket Tvs for their mods... I noticed the Psone quality is kinda weak for being 5", but wouldn't a 3" LCd be even worse... I have to admit though, i was using analog video signal, not RGB...

So you know, RGB is analoge too. We use 3" as it better than something like a 2.5". The PSOne screen is the best screen you can buy as its 5" and its under $100, we also gauge other screens by the quality of the PSOne screen.

I have a Hip Gear Screen that 2.6" and the quaility isnt as bad as most would think. But the smaller the screen the worse things get, like RPGs are every hard to play as you cant read the text.

Well, i mean tRGB as sharper picture... Umm, thats what i mean when it comes to smaller LCds is smaller text... Its already hard to read some text on 5" PSone LCD's, let alone 2.5". I want 9"... Nice...
