You might consider putting grips near where the controls are, so that there's a distinct feel when your hands are in the right place. As I recall, there were companies that made little grips you can just stick onto the back of the unit (it'd pad the back too when you put it down).

true, but though you can't tell by looking at it, the unit is quite confortable to hold. There are no edges to sharp points that poke you.

I just lowered it to $269. I really want to sell it, as I need the money bad.

So do we all. >_> I really want to buy that thing. I just have to sell my portable first so I can get one just as good. But much better case and more comfy!

How much did that cost you to make?

EDIT: oh, and could you put a switch between the wires that short the games and allow you to play NES carts, that way you can play built in games and external?

Yeah you can put a switch on there to switch from the built in games to cartridges. That's what G-Force done with his portable nes in a gameboy.
Meh, I don't post much.

harshboy,
Here's a rough breakdown of the costs.
-About $50 for the Yobo (I got ripped off)
-$40 for the Screen
-$10 for the plastic
-$5 for the Aluminum
-$5 for the battery (on sale)
-$17 for the Adapter
-$20 Misc. parts
-$1000 for the time and patience I had to have to not break the thing in a million pieces while I was building it.

Also, for anyone who wants a Cherrybomb 2, I plan of making more once I get my CNC machine built so I'll posts when/if I get anymore made.
