On this page, Ben said you need to short out that thingy on the back of the screen with a little wire. Would I just add a piece of wire to it and connect it to ground or what? Also what is the best LDO for a Sony screen. Thanks!
well...i did this to my psone lcd...but rather than soldering to the tiny chip, i just removed the jumper and it worked fine and dandy...
the only reason i did this was because i couldn't see the rgb coming from the n64...it was waaay to dark to be even playable...but doing that made it a BUT better...i might just go with composite in the end
Yeah, it definitely helps with the brightness, and as Ben said, the brightness controls actually do something so you don't have to always turn the brightness all the way up.
