battery help

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

can you use AA battries. if so how many. if not what other kind of battery like that( 9 volt, AAA, d)

rechargable "AA" nimh batteries will work. put them together in series until you have the voltage you want. you'll probably need at least 6.

or you can just go buy a rechargeable RC pack, which is basically the same thing but arleady put together for you. and you can get a proper charger for it too.

make sure its nimh, not nicd. well. nicd is ok, but they dont last half as long as nimh batteries do.

does it have to be rechargeable battires. if so i have some so it is ok

Recharble Batteries generally have less voltage than Alkalines, they start at 1.4v and quickly drop to 1.2v each. So if you use Alkalines make sure you don't use too many without a voltage regulator cause they start at 1.5v.
