thats the cheapest battery ive seen that would work, if I had some more money id get something else. as it is now, I need batteries, a battery charger, a screen, and some buttons to replace the ones on the controller....

If its lead acid I'm sure its rechargable as car batteries are Lead acid too.

well, ive finally got my plan for my XBOXp down...
im gonna use the same batt that Ben used on his PS2p and that PSU that I found. I also just found an adapter that converts an ATX PSU into one that will work on an xbox

why dont you chip it so you can replace the hard drive maybe with those laptop ones (not sure bout this but im pretty sure it will work)

then you can lose the dvd drive and run games from disc you could always use the network socket to upload games or maybe a ide port on the outside so you can hook up the drive when needed

my xbox is chipped
a laptop hdd will work, but you have to buy an ide converter to hook it up.
You must be reading my mind, because I fully plan on taking out the DVD drive and making a connecter to so I can hook it up if needed

If I remember right, doesn't the xbox need the dvd drive during the boot up sequence, or does a modchip and modded bios solve that problem?

my xbox, a version 1.1 seems to randomly look for the dvd drive at boot, because when i chipped mine, i left the drive out for easier testing, if it looks for the drive, just reboot the machine, kindof the whole philosophy behind microsoft anyways, are we on a line here or what?
