For a moment...

Give a moment of your time to think upon the families of the trapped miners in West Virginia. I can only imagine the heartache they are going through.
Post you're thoughts here. And please, be mature.

I had just heard of this a few days ago, and I can imagine what it'd be like. My grandfather (the one that I had mentioned in my signature) was a coal miner and was also his father, so I've heard a lot of coal mining storys. Hope they get through it ok and if not they have only suffered it once and will be in peace.
I hope for the best, but the mines are filled, almost completely with carbon monoxide and there's very few places they could go to for clean air, so it looks mighty likely that we won't make it to them in time (if they're still alive) because this mine is huge, and having 7 (I think) people searching for them, survival looks grim for the miners.

Sadly, that was a mistake, Spongey. There is one live body and twelve dead bodies.

Wow. Thta's pretty sad. I wonder where the miscommunication occured. Even though coal mining is a dangerous buisness, it's the uncertaincy that really gets you.

According to what I heard the mineing company got news that they may have been alive but were keeping there mouths shut till they knew deffinatly weather they were dead or not. But someone at the mine covertly used a cell phone to call the familys and tell them the miners were alive even tho the mine wasn't sure if they were alive or dead. It turned out to be the latter. Whoever leaked the misinformation is gonna be shunned when the familys find out who mnade the call.

how horrible....I saw the news this morning and that really is just awful . to think you've had your prayers answered and think a miracle happened, and then just get a slap in the face....it makes it worse than it already is .
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!
