More pictures.. I've sanded it down and polished it further..
BenHeck.com forums reflection (obviously obscured by the concaveness of the controller)
Blank notepad document.. If you look carefully you can see my taskbar quite clearly, so it proves how reflective it is.
Front ways
Top ways.

i am almost done rewiring it now and i have to install the start and select buttons yet but i will take some pics of a somewhat complete nes controller tonight, which i should complete this week sometime after school. After i get it wired i will take some pics of it completely wired and with the start and select button installed
prepare to be amazed

Hatrix can we have pictures in a more lit up are because when i first saw it i said to myself wow that looks horrible but then i went back and saw it was reflective not just some wierd white blob. Also maybe once all the pictures are in we could make a new thread in the news section with all the entries.

I don't need anymore pictures, I've updated my original post with pictures.. I'll take more if they benefit, otherwise, I won't.Nonsense Man wrote:Hatrix can we have pictures in a more lit up are because when i first saw it i said to myself wow that looks horrible but then i went back and saw it was reflective not just some wierd white blob. What's so horrible about it anyway?
For a bondo contest, I'd say the finish on it was pretty near damn perfect..

I'm not saying it looks horrible just in those dark pictures it just looks like a giant blob of white paint.EnterTheHatrix wrote:I don't need anymore pictures, I've updated my original post with pictures.. well my sister is an idiot and left our camera in a friends car so no new pics >.> here are the build log pics tho!
this was the day i started, began with a SNES superpad by performance and an already split in half n64 controller.
second day i worked on it, first layer of bondo, added the bottom part of the snes controller and did more shapeing and added in some marine putty for structure, also worked on the back of the controller
3rd time i worked on it sanded the bondo. after this i did a few more layers of bondo and filled in the large opening on the back then sanded and primered the first coat as seen in the next 2 pics!
now its basically the same butwith the buttons and everything. i might fix the little cracks and stuff and get it REALLY smooth and paint it glossy but i dunno.
