Post by Adam-West » Wed Sep 14, 2005 11:52 am

Well I have been surfing these forums for several days. and I am realy impressed. I want to do this, and I have a several hundead dolar budget. I just need to know if, A. I can build one by christmas or so? B. If it worth it? C. And I would also like to know where I could find a basic how to. (So I dont blow up too many. )

P.S. I bet one of these you all have made would fetch over 300$ on ebay.

P.P.S. Thanks

I am expecting to spend a total of about $170 for mine, so you should be fine. If you want advice on your portable though, it helps to start it first.

oh, and it's DEFINITELY worth it :D.....to be able to play all the great N64 games (OoT, Goldeneye, SSB, SM64, Perfect Dark, Mario Party, MarioKart, the list goes on and on ;)) is just priceless :D
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

thats right, they may be big, oddly shaped, poorly lit, last for only a few hours or may be down right ugly, but the experence of playing those console classics is just fantastic
SNESp - 100%
Protable X - 15% - I need money :(

I hate that silent L. It's sneaky.

And it is worth it. just keep in mind why you are doing it, and have fun. Even if it ends up getting thrown away, you at least got some electronics experience from it.

Umm... Pulling up old threads for no real reason is generally frowned upon. Just so you know.
