My dreamcast had a nuclear explosion. I was playing house of the dead 2 when KABLAAAAAAAAAAm, it caught on fire. I did modify it, but was just a graphics enhancer. the plastic melted, and the whole mobo is charred. What do you think happened.

maybe when you tried to enhance the graphics, you accidentally installed a bomb
maybe you shorted it or something but i don't know what could possibly make it explode

i took your guys and check it out. The power pins had full electricity on them and I got shocked with 12V of power. I checked my graphics chip. I found the problem. I accidentially pinned it to the power instead of video. Maybe the thing caused a nuclear reaction.

go to any mod site, and buy a new dreamcast graphics chip. You have to desolder the old chip out, then solder the new one, to each data line. Hard but worth it
Every thing is crisper and smoother. However, very dangerous, cause you are messing with laser radiation. I wouldn't reccommend it unless you guys are DIE HARD dreamcast fans willing to do anything to revive the dreamcast

Clearly, it caught on fire, and the motherboard was charred.

A nuclear reaction, are you kidding? A nuclear reaction happens when you split an atom in half. I highly doubt your dreamcast is capable of that.
Dude, it's Duck Hunt.

sooooooooooo, take this as a lesson, when you technially go into altering a data line, dont hook it to a power line
