Ben's PS2p

First, here me out:

I have a wife and two kids. I own a PS2, which is hooked up to a TV in my bedroom. The only thing it's being used for right now is a DVD player because during the day, my kids take their naps in there and at night my wife and kids sleep in there. I cannot move the PS2 to another room since there is nowhere else to put it, and it's a good spot for it. I cannot play it during the day because I'm too busy being a dad, and the only time I can play it is when the kids are asleep (but they sleep in the room with it). hence my dilema.

I like Ben's device, and since he has announced that he will not be making any more PS2ps, I have to find an alternate source.

I don't have much in the way of cash, but I'm still saving & I'm desperate. I neither know how nor have the time to build my own, so I'd like for someone to build it for me. Thiis thing wouldbe great for my frequent trips to Memphis, or at night when I have nothing else to do. If anyone is interested, please reply.

Sorry but without some serious cash nobody's building it. (maybe some exeption somewhere)

You should expect to pay $300 at the very least for a decent one, more likely $400-600.

So, if I had smewhere in the neighborhood of $1000, someone would do it? Or is that asking too much?

ok thats some cash. I think ben might do it for that. Theres few who made a ps2 portable. Best is just to look at this thread someone wil most likely apply for the job.

For that much, you should expect something that looks better than anything Sony could make. I think you could get someone to make you a good one for about $600 (I could make you one cheap, but my case skills aren't good, and I'd want to actually make a portable first before making one for someone else).
