Hey. I'm currently int he process of writing a PSOne portble guide. anyone interested int his guide? I offer tips for figuring out things in the guide to helpw ith other portables. Like how to figure out the pin out for the controller and things like that. when finished, it will be a MSWord doc. which most computers can open. The file should open in the operating systems default word processor. if it doesn't have MSWord. Anyway, just wondering. Complete with nice pics and wiring diagrams and all that.

Well, when you read the tutorial, I explain ways to find out stuff for other consoles too. It's just based around PSOne, with all PSone diagrams and things like that.
The guide getting there. I'm pushing page 15. Its complete ith everything i can think of for PSOne. I'm completing as a rich document so all computers can open it. Not big, like 1.6 MB. I might evencompress it with Winzip or something.
Hope you release it soon otherwise I'll just wait to use Ben's book first.

Actualy, it wasn't pushing page 15, it was 22! Anyway, since I have given up on my portable, i have ended the guide with what I have, which is practically everything you need to build your portable, just without all the small knick knacks I'm sure you could get answered here and on other forums. Its available for download in Winzip format. Once opened, its MSWord 2000, but any OS could open it since there's nothing special. Just text and pics, text and pics. You'll have to be on my website and click the link for it to start the download. Tripod won't alloremote downloading like this...Enjoy... http://djky2k3.tripod.com/
Well, due to my success in bringing the last broken board back to life, I will continue building my portable AND writing the tutorial. I will now add a Repair section to help people who may break their boards too! What does everyone think of the tutorial so far though?
