Before it seemed like it couldn't get here fast enough but now it's almost arriving too quickly, especially since I haven't had any time to work on any of my projects either.

Coming up way to fast. I had several projects I hoped to finish before the show but I doubt I will be able to carve out enough time between now and then. I guess I should start planning for MGC 2012 now, maybe we could do a group project and build some kind of tech ark!

I'm really excited, I'm bringing 3 people with me as well. Getting to talk to everyone again this year is gonna be fun. And I might like the group project, ask me if I've got some parts that I can bring and I'll try.

I can't hang at the bar and all that though, being 17 and stuff.

Also I vote for everyone at least brings they're own name tags this time, instead of relying on one person to do all the work.

It's more of a bar and grill then a straight up bar. It's the Resturant that was on the corner where you got tickets. As long as you sit at a regular table and not at the bar itself you will be fine, people well under 21 were present at MGC karaoke. Same with the "MGC After Parties, all the arcade rooms were still open too, most of the drinking was in the room across from ours.

As for nametages, John-Light is doing a fine job with them and I don't think it'll take him much time to do any other ones. PM him your name and stuff.

I'll probably need help with my 80's NES Laptop also. I'm trying to get it done beforehand but in the back of my mind
I know I'll get nowhere close.

I'm almost done with my trade list, mostly consoles and a few games and such. Will hopefully start a thread tomorrow (or post in it if someone else makes the thread), where everyone should post their tradelist and/or what they are looking for at the show.

I wish I could go, but I have solo & ensemble on the 25th (my group made it to states). I'll probably also have to work on the robot (robotics team) on saturday.

OMGC! It's almost here!

Earlier we had talked about doing a Starcraft/Star Wars Episode I Racer LAN party. That needs to happen. I'll bring my WRT54g + an 8-port switch + ethernet cables! I will be bringing my Macbook Pro, which will definitely be able to handle those two games, I'll see if my old iBook G3 can handle them. If you guys could bring your own laptop capable of playing Starcraft I/Star Wars Episode I Racer that would be schweet!

I've got my netbook to bring! I know it can handle starcraft I, and it can probably handle the podracer game... Unfortunately, my laptop is totally dead, so I won't have my backup for anyone to use :( .

I looked on the itinerary for the event and it said Ralph Baer was going to be there! Has he been at previous events? I would love it it could autograph my Odyssey!

EDIT: AWW... just a SKYPE CALL....REALLY? When I went to Video Games Live they said he was going to be there, but it was pretty much the same thing.

Is there a map of the room layouts yet? Are we in the same room as last year? How many tables will we have set up? What is scheduled for the afterparty this year, if anything? How many people will be lined up outside the mall for the 3DS? Did Parker start driving up from Texas yet? Spongebrian is still coming right? What is the meaning of life?
