Well it was the 7808 getting to hot.
Weird because even when the screen shut off the 7808 was still ouputting the proper voltage.
Put a fan on it and the screen stayed on, so I added an aluminum heatsink from a Retro Duo and I spent today putting in the fan on the back where it will suck the hot air out.
I should be done with it tomorrow and posts finished pics

In my GCp I wired two 7808s in parallel and I think it helped to solve the same problemhailrazer wrote:Well it was the 7808 getting to hot.

I did also add a larger heatsink though so maybe having two did nothing

Well I just have to wire the batteries and Pcb and I'm done.
Here's a look at the insides before I add the batteries.
The PicoPsu is underneath the Dreamcast Motherboard:
I will post finished pics tomorrow afternoon, I'm tired and going to sleep.

How do I make a youtube video of it. I have a 1.3Meg camera in my laptop but when I try to make a 320x240 video it ends up being around 1gig
Is there a easier way to make a small video ?

Put it into Windows Movie Maker, then save it. WMM saves it as a WMV file, which has a very small file size.hailrazer wrote:How do I make a youtube video of it. I have a 1.3Meg camera in my laptop but when I try to make a 320x240 video it ends up being around 1gig

Finished
Here's the finished pics
I added a fan in the back as you can see and put slots in it like the original Dreamcast has.
I put the orange Led shining down on the Dreamcast Logo. You like ?
Well that was sure fun.
I have to finish the cover for the back but I'm glad the rest is done so I think I will put it off for a few days.
