using the document u sent i could easily change the controller
im just not sure where on the cart slot i begin (pin 1) but the document helped

i can't find this link in the sticky anymore...
this is what i was meaning you need.
sorry bout that.
one way to make sure it can play nes games is to get a family converter before doing all that soldering...

zenith 5" xbox screen is on its way from ebay!
72 pin cart slot is on its way
as are 2 NES controllers which will provide my 4021 (and a spare for 2p or incase i screw up)
this should be fairly easier than my current project (which i highly reccommend you all visit see my sig)
debating on zn-40 (45?) case or not...

ZN-40 seems really big for an NOACp.
Even with the screen I think it will have a fair bit empty space, though you could used that space for a tricked out battery.
Though in fairness I've never seen a real ZN-40, though I have read the size of it and seen a real NOAC (the one from my FC Twin that one day I got bored and opened it).
But whatever, it's better to have too much space than not enough, and the ZN-40 is a nice lookin' case.

hey guys, got my controlers in today (3rd party) and not to much surprise... they have gloptop ICs.
after relooking traces, i have come up with a pinout for them.. for those of you with the time.. PLEASE look the map over and try to find mistakes.. if there are any i need to know!.
aside from that i just have to wire the controller straight to the NOAC board (famicom input) and test that, then from there i can try using tact switches and just the IC.. i belive i wont need the blue connection because im not using a lightgun.. One more thing: there is a resistor on the back of the board connecting yellow to blue. i think its 10k. not sure. what significance does it have??
i will be using a 5" zenith xbox screen (already on its way)
i have heard rumors about problems powering it and a daughter board..? this wont be an issue correct?
thanks
