Check this site out! You follow the ebay link from their page, and then shop ebay like normal. Then when you win an auction, they give you a percentage of the money back. I think it's something like 37% they give you. The money goes right into your paypal, so its safe and all. I just bought a jacket on ebay for $65 and the next day, i got just about $25 sent to my paypal account. This is a good deal if you ask me Also, you get cash back when people you refer shop as well. I hope this isn't breaking the rules...

This counts as advertising. However, I'm going to keep it open, just because this sounds pretty freakin' sweet, if it works. However, if another moderator wants to lock this, they can go ahead and do so.Rules 5.0 wrote:2. No advertising or blogging.

Friggin' SWEET!
I took a look into it. I mean, giving away free 36% discounts on eBay seems kind of sketchy. Something doesn't seem right.
It says only for US residents. So if you're not in the US, use paypal like Khagg did . He makes 4% of every purchase you make.
It seems to check out. But I want everyone to look up it's credibility. Try to find someone who got utterly screwed by this service. If you can't, well, it must be legit. Especially with paypal, where they can't steal your credit card number. Right? Right?
Seeing as Khagg can only get 5 referrals, and I can only get one (for signing up as a CrumbSaver), here's my referral link for one person to use (please!):
http://www.bigcrumbs.com/crumbs/frontpage.jsp?r=Kurt123
One last thing: There are 2 membership types: CrumbSaver and CrumbEarner. You CAN switch from saver to earner, but not back. I'm sticking with my saver account, simply because it has a 16% larger saving on eBay purchases. You still get referral money, I think. Perhaps only directly. They're REALLY pushing the earner account, so I'm staying with my saver account. Why else would they make it so you can't switch back?

For ebay:How We Do It
It may sound too good to be true, but it's real. There's no mystery. Just a sound business model and simple math. Please have a look at the following eBay example.
We earn commissions from eBay and other retailers, then pass them on to our members. Think of BigCrumbs as a third-party rewards program for 136 retailers.
Add to My Mall
Cash Back
CS: 36% of fee
CE: 20% of fee
RC: 4% of fee
(please see details)
CS=CrumbSaver Rebate, CE=CrumbEarner Rebate, RC=Referral Commission
About This Retailer
Find it, buy it, sell it...all on eBay!
Cash Back Details/Exceptions
eBay pays based on a percentage of the seller's total fee. Seller's fee may be difficult to discern for the buyer because it depends on options selected by the seller. To estimate fees for a purchase you're considering please see eBay's fee page.
Note: You must click through and place the winning bid or execute a Buy It Now transaction. Simply clicking through to make a payment is NOT sufficient for credit.
Excludes $.01 (one penny) purchases and all purchases for which the seller's fee exceeds the purchase amount.
Hey, sup?

That number is not accurate. From the webpage:
http://www.bigcrumbs.com/crumbs/index.jsp?page=faqs.jsp
"As a CrumbSaver, you will receive 36% of the seller's fees in cash back when you shop and 4% of the seller's fee when your direct referrals shop."
You don't get 36% of the purchase price refunded. You get 36% of what the seller paid ebay. That comes out to around 2% or so of the selling price.
I don't know where Khaag got those $25, but it wouldn't have been based upon buying a $65 jacket.
Also, the whole thing is sketchy. The thing is a pyramid scheme, they demonstrate how it is a pyramid scheme, and then they say it is not a pyramid scheme.
I guess it is not one in that you aren't actually taking money from the people lower on the list, but it's essentially the same otherwise. You can probably still save some money, though.

Sellers don't really pay that much in seller fees. Money just doesn't come out of nowhere. It must be very profitable for them, or they wouldn't do it.
The bottom line is: If it sounds too good to be true, it is. Or, as the saying goes "There ain't so such thing as a free lunch."
Maybe khaag is really an uber realistic spambot that'll talk to you about cars and motorcycles on MSN!!Skyone wrote:I'm so tempted to sign up and try it out. If khaag got the money, what could be wrong?
This looks good, but why does ebay need advertising? Maybe someone should ask ebay if they are really paying these people to advertise for them.
