My Handheld Dreamcast

Post by techknott »

Thought you guys might like to see why I abandoned the gamecube project.

This is the only photo im posting now until its done. Basically, this is just the shape(Buttons in pic need shortening etc.. Everything is screwed in for easy removal.

Image

It doesn't look very symmetrical due to the light and shadows from the flash, but it is.

Nah, nowhere near yet. Needs painting and everything. Only started it yesterday. Just put the buttons and screen in and cut the case up.

In two hours, you made a very nice case. Making good use of a vacuum former?
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.

I assume he's not talking about the mold making, vac-forming part. just the button and screen hole cutouts and maybe desoldering parts off the board.

...unless he is talking about all of it  and he thought a lot about it beforehand and just wipped through it.

Sorry if I came off as sounding like a jerk. That's an incredibly awesome case, plus the Dreamcast is my favorite system, so bonus points.
