Help me with DC-DC converter please!

Post by sammy »

I'm searching for DC-DC converters and since I don't live in the USA I don't want to buy it from Radioshack. I have this other website which I know from school. Altough I can't seem to find the right converter in the searching bar. link
Can somebody help me find the right one please?

For converting to 3.3v? Check the thread below this one for info on free ones.

**EDIT**

I meant this one.

The offer? It should. I'm from USA, and the guy who started posting about it is Canadian, so I'm betting it will.

The easiest DC-DC converter to make for the N64 I've come across is where you use two 7805 regulators and two 3ohm resistors (one for each regulator). You can make this setup from the parts in the PSU of the system.

Otherwise you can drop some money on buying a 3.5v regulator, or a varible regulator from digikey.

the regulators are ok, the resistors are pretty inefficient but can work...dc-dc converters are best, though.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!
