Cennar help me
with your cases how do you keep the plastic from not gennerating static on to the screen or the system because i was going to use a plastic box as a temp case then build the reaal one out of alluminum.

dude, what? only plastic i can think of that really has a problem with static is plastic wrap, interestin stuff happens in the plastic wrap factories, or used to anyway. they call it the electrostatic wall effect http://www.amasci.com/weird/unusual/e-wall.html

Use some anti-static wipes. They are made for professional photographers. They are used on the lens' to keep dust off. I tried it on my laptop and it works out just fine.

yeah I never had a big static problem... but if your worried build a grid of wire some wares flat and that should act like an RF shiled and ground. Though I can't imagine having to much a problem unless your dragging this thing on the carpet...

OH MY G (are we allowed to say g*d here?) anyway, that is scary. it's the type of stuff people have phobias of. it's like being buried alive without being buried.
