SNES SuperGameboy

Is it normal for the video to be kinda choppy and the sound to not work with non-enhanced gb games? It's only on the little pard of the screen that shows the game.

My Super Gameboy always worked fine, it does for someone else now... why did I get rid of it?

I know the connections on my gameboy games and my Super GameBoy are clean. I even opened the cartridges to clean the contacts. I actually bought it on ebay. When I saw it didn't work well I figured it was just the one I got. So I bought a better condition one with the box and manual. Same thing, all choppy. Is this some difference between the original SNES and the mini SNES (I have a mini) that messes this up? I relocated my cartridge slot, but I doubt that's it because all of my other games work like a charm.

I doubt it has anything to do with the system if just the gb area inside the border is messing up.. that doesnt make sense..
