This is my design im planning to buy the gamecube battery so that will take some depth off im also not hacking up the mother board. the only hacking im doing is with the controler i plan to cut the 3 wires connecting it to the conntroller than make them longer than mount it over to the left a little. so tell me if you like it or not oh yeah the screen is a ps1 and flip up. pls post
Im not sure if i want to hack it up more though because this is the first big hack ive done so i want to keep it as siple as posible thx though oh yeah what do u mean on how to post imagas because i was going to post a crude desing of my n64p.
If you fry a few N64s, don't get upset, they are very fickle. If you want to do a practice system to get used to hacking first, before you try the N64, I suggest one of the older systems.
actually sometimes when a N64 "fries," it's just temporarily dead. mine died a while ago and i just couldn't get it to work. after a months, i was bored and tested it and it worked. maybe that's what happens when N64s just die with no real reason
Yeah, it's like it just needs to cool down or get a charge out of it's system or something. I've had that happen to some computer motherboards. Not many though, most of them were older ones that were more robust than modern ones.
thank you for your sugestions the one thing i might re wire is the game port so its like bens. yeah i have 2 n64s so far one im getting a greenish screen when i hook it up i tried it with both cables and the other one is in working condition so i have a back up. one more ? anyone know when bens gonna try a gamecube JK.
right now im just testing it on my tv i tried it with both the cables and it still did this. n64s are very cheaply made im starting to wonder why people paid $200 for them.
