Can I splice my Snes Controller for a shorter cord?
Hi guys,
I have a quick quesion about my atkafighter completed Snesp. I love it, it works great. I've even done some minor tweaking (Secured the motherboard with a couple of screws, and put another screw in the psone screen to make it more secure).
Now I'm thinking about the controller. Does anyone know if I can get rid of some of the cord with a simple splice? The problem is that the cord frequently gets in the way during play. Thanks guys.
Atkafighter if you read this - Thanks again. Your rock!

Can you? Yes.
If all you want to do is shorten the cable, stop by gamesx.com. They have the pinout of the contrller and so you can either solder he plug back on or solder the contrller right to he system montherboard.

Sparkfist,
I should probably mention that my controller is just a regular controller plugged into the controller port. Please see atkafighter's profile for a picture of my snesp.
So If I'm understanding correctly, I should be able to simply cut out the unwanted portion of the controller & solder together the now shorter pieces? Thanks again.
