I looked around, and I didnt find a previous post concerning the power for the Regular(not small) Psone power source. I have a 7.2V 3000mAh NIMH battery I want to use, or I could just use AAs.
Problem is, it works on wierd voltages.
I used my Multimeter (i suggest Highly that you dont, Its dangerous) And the power going to the PSone Is 3.6V and 7.8V. It needs bolth to run. I was wondering how to get these voltages from some AA batteries. (most likley 6, pumping out 9V total)
So I need info on how to get 3.6V and 7.8 (or close) out of 9V.
Thanks!
EDIT: I could add more AAs If they are needed. I have a whole bunch of rechargeables. They say 1.2V, but they pump out 1.5V at full charge.

Im not going to bother with it anymore. It can be VERy thin and about the size of the other motherboard, but its just unpowerable. I had The power hooked up through 2 power regulators. One knocked it down to 8V and the other to 3.6, and I got nothing. Im leaving it for now, Who knows what to make next...daguuy wrote:would it work on 7.5 or 9v?
