Snes and GB emulator hehhe

Post by HotDog-Cart »

I made my own Snes and GB Emulator..but its not one of those ones you download off the net...its Hardware!@!!

it plugs into my old Laptop with VGA Output. then i turn the comp and the emulator on, and the screen goes black then the game starts
and i made a switch on it so, i can switch from Snes to GB (vice versa)
I made a Controller Built into my Laptop (Meant for GB since it only has 2 buttons)

and best of alll, i didnt have a snes board, or a gb board
my brothers friend told me how to make a "fake" board

Few Bugs though.
Ill list some:
1)HeatSink isnt doing good enough job, to keep the board from getting hot,
2)Sometimes the game starts to run slow,
3)Game may crash or Music may stop during play,
4)Games are Black & white, (with Snes) due to my Old Laptop has a Black and white screen
5)Some times The emulator will Load the Snes game instead of the GB game
6) Cannot Save Progress GRRR
7)Sometimes the controller i Built into my comp wont work with GB

Theres many more Bugs...lol

but i will soon, make the Emulator run off my TV...(its gonna be hard, since its old shcool Board)
and ill make it run gba roms (2d only)

ill show a PIC (since i cant make a vid) of a Game running (built in game, since its the easist to run)....but i shouldnt have called it an Emulator..since it only runs 1 Built in rom.....but it runs Normal game Carts liek earthbound (liek it runs Normal Snes game, you just put the Snes Game, or GB Game on the Slot, and it plays on the Computer screen)

if you dont understand, its like a normal Game Console that runs, 1 Built in Emulator, and runs GB Games and Snes Games

and ill take a pic of the board and ill take a pic of everything togther..:)

I somehow doubt this, and will continue doubting until I see a video.

like i said its NOT an emulator, it plays one Built in, rom
but to make it play Snes and GB games, i just plug the carts into the "special homemade" Slots

anyways, what frequency are you running it at?
To be able to run a cart on it it has to run at the same speed as the cart expects
