Battery danger questions

Post by MiGs »

Well I got some questions, first I wanna make a external battery pack for my portable N64 (gonna be pretty small I think), and I just wanna know if battery leaks, shortages, and other potentially dangerous stuff like that is common and what kinds of measures should be taken to avoid it?

I wanna have a pack of 6-12 D batteries there so I'm guessing.. well no, I dunno, I'm just thinking... how would I go about doin this?

Things like that shouldn't happen unless you do something stupid like overcharge your batteries or cross some wires.
