So he must have just been using black "plexiglass". Maybe acrylic is just what plexiglass is called when it is opaque. im going to make a cutout and try tracing it on the plexiglass sheet in other places to create a layer. And now i just need to figure out weather to use super glue or epoxy or whatever it is i will need and just sand down the sides to smooth any uneven edges and round off the corners.
I probably wont have time to get the materials till tomorrow... Still need a new cutting disk...

Acrylic and plexiglass are the same thing, just dif names.
Superglue will work A LOT better than epoxy, trust me. The epoxy just snaps apart from the plastic. No good at all.

Alright I forgot... When i went plexiglass shopping i found some superglue that actually has a primer for plastics that helps it bond. I may start cutting out the border tomorrow or create some way to mount the lcd... suppose if some idea comes up soon ill use itG-force wrote:elixirnova wrote: Superglue will work A LOT better than epoxy, trust me.
