Strange yet cheap LCD
I found this LCD on a site called www.i-mcm.com (60-9855). A nice 4 in. LCD. However I need some help. Could someone of master LCD mastering, find composite out on the screen. I have a picture of it in the genesis/radica file; topic: help with thy sega portable. So can the master help a lowly peaseant. By the way, does anyone know how to contact Ben Heckendorn.
can someone pweeez help me

You could find his name in the phone book and leave him a bunch of messages on the answering machine.

What is the voltage of your battery? I would guess 7.2V and if that's the case the LCD might not run off it, since it is meant to run off 12V. However you might get lucky and the screen might have a 7805 regulator in it, in which case you could easily run it off 7.2V.
For wire you could use just aobut anything, floppy cable is nice cause it keeps everthing tidy. But some prefer Radio Shack wire. Either will work, I would go with floppy cable.

Have you bought it? Was it a bare screen and board, or did it come in a case?

Ground is the negative of a battery, one ground is no different from another.Help Thy Portable wrote:It has a female RCA connection

bad news
the pins are literally microscopic, and the slightest heat could destroy them
but remeber, it had a plug which had a ground wire and a female RCA connector, how about i snip the connector and the ground and solder that direct to the mobo.
Theoritically it seems very possible, just theoritically. I think a crazy idea like that would be crazy enough to work??? THE SUSPENSE CONTINUES.
But really could it work?

Its spelt 'naive', and you certainly were such, you got totally screwed paying 100 dollars for a 4" screen.
