Case Idea

I'm working on a case for this project. Ill be making the majority of it out of wood with an acrylic window for the boards (I've always liked starting at my handiwork) and most likely a non see-through plastic for the area surrounding the screen. I'll be making the External case Shell out of 1/4" plywood and will most likely pinstripe it with something like this to give it a little flair. Give me your opinion on this idea and whether or not I'm being stupid.

You should check out this site too. There's some stuff there that is likely to make some console hackers drool.
