PSONE Games on external hdd ?

i ve a question, because i want to build a Psone portable:

Is there any possability to put the psone games on an external hdd and play them from hdd ?

If you can design and build a board that can translate between the serial language the Playstation's CD-ROM drive understands and IDE/SATA, then yes. (It won't just be a few wires and transistors; it would basically need a custom-burnt FPGA.)

Otherwise no.
