Who knows what the inside looks like, but the concept is the same for all the screens: remove the fluorescent backlight, stick LEDs around the perimeter of the screen, and wire them to a power source on the motherboard. The PSOne screen is perfect, though, because the LEDs fit in it so well. so yeah, you can do that one.

i would not advise led modding a screen that size, you need 10 or 20 bright leds and even then it will be dim, 5 inch is about your limit for an effective led med. i attemptedto led mod a 15 inch screen and a 40 led bar couldnt cut it. youd need somehting either very awesome or very specialist to fit in the space where the ccfl was to, 2 leds at either end jsut aint gona do it
