memory pak pinout?

Post by thewise1 »

All right, my n64 is working perfectly so far, but I'm having troubles with the controller, when I removed the expansion port on the yobo controller I seemed to have broken a few traces, I thought I reconnected them all but apparently not. When I boot up hydro thunder it says detecting memory pak press A. I press A but it just flashes the message and says the memory pak has been changed, press A. And every time I press A it just shows me the same message, I've looked over my connections and can't find anything wrong.

What my question is, does anyone have a pinout of the yobo memory pak port? Or does anyone have any suggestions? And don't say get a new yobo controller, I want that to be my last resort.

Well, then, you seem to be the guru at finding me cheap stuff, I've already searched ebay for a controller if I do have to get a replacement. So where is this controller of which you speak?

I don't have a local flea market, and my pawnshop doesn't have any. So my only resource is ebay.
