Program Distribution Questions.

Well, I've made a program in VB.net, and its currently in the beta build of it. I'm wondering if it's ok to distribute this program on the internet for people to beta test. (I'm pretty sure it is, I'm just double checking) Once the beta is complete, and a final version comes out, is it legal to actually sell the program for money? Is it Royalty Free?
