Thus far, it's been fun to just play with as it is. It even still had all the tinned wires of various lengths with it.

 That's the same one I had when I was a kid! (Except I think yours is newer.) Never really had the patience to wire together the really complicated ones... Don't scrap it for parts; there's only one of each part on there anyway.

Pity they don't make them anymore. :(

They still make them, just not that kind. And the newer ones are much quicker to use: they have a breadboard on them.

I don't have that type; I have the type pictured.

I just got TMNT Ultra for NES for a $1.10 from EBay! I originally bought Ninja Gaiden Sigma for $5 and I recieved a message saying he couldn't find it and that he would give me a partial refund plus another game!

Bic, I'll probably just keep it as-is. It's been a blast to play with so far. I can definitely use some of what I've learned on bigger projects.

Just picked up an awesome deal this week. $82 for the following:

2 perfectly functional Nomads
1 Nomad that just displays a blue or yellow screen
2 broken GameGears
2 perfectly functional GameGears.

I am loving the Nomads, though. I'll be rigging up some battery packs for them, since they didn't come with any. I'll be LED modding the GameGears, too. I've found some solder points that still let me use the brightness dial.

Made a sweet score at Play 'N' Trade on Saturday:

A PSone with the matching screen, two controllers, the power and A/V cables, three novelty memory cards (one's shaped like a football, one like a hockey mask, and the last one like Lara Croft from "Tomb Raider"), and a carrying case that holds everything, plus a copy of "WipEout Pure" for the PSP, for a grand total of $45 or so.

I love Play 'N' Trade.

And today (well, yesterday, technically), I got a broken Xbox with two controllers and the DVD playback remote for free from my cousin. Perhaps a project is in order...

Haha, well, if I decide to sell it, you get first dibs. For now, though, I think I'm gonna just keep it and use it as-is. I mean, it's a cool addition to my collection, at least.

bought an n64 with a bunch of games in a box for ten bucks shipped. Not sure what i'm getting at all because it's from someone selling ther kids games. I do know it has controllers and system but no details on games. Just taking a chance to see what I get. Can't be any different than playing the lottery.

Also two large boxes of nes snes games systems and controllers and parts on ebay for fifty bucks shipped. maybe I got a bit carried away.

nes legend of zelda ten bucks shipped
