that kinda gives me an idea, a backpack/belt combo with the disc drive and buttons (power etc) on the belt and use the hipgear controler like bico said. have the mobo and batteries in the backpack

thats from a laptop with a mobile pentium 150....i think the voltage for it is more than the x-box's pentium 3 733 but not sure....if you had good soldering skills you could solder a mobile pentium into an x-box too

the thing is that, why take your xbox walking in the city, if some one knows its an xbox, don't you think the'll steal it from you? :roll:

umm in reality you dont hav to take it apart.. all you have to do is connect a watt inverter (a thingy that makes 12vDC into 120vAC) to a car battery or something and put it in a back pack then use a hip screen pad controller

well maybe take a I-pod HDD and break down the dvd drive and put a screen put evox and media center. it be hard, PLUS the huge motherboard
