I have UT2k4, but I perfer Renegade, which nobody seems to have :? It's a greatly underrated game, with magazines even calling it crap, which shocked me a lot, the multiplayer mode is great

could have sworn i did this, but...
I'm Brian R. and live in los angeles. Im 14, 15 in june. Besides portables I enjoy zombies ate my neighbors, asdf.com , the music of Ian Mackaye and The Evens, Glen E. Friedman & richard avedon's photographs and my cats batsy, pip, Bille (holliday) and my dog Jessie. I have a twin sister, and a 22 year old bro. I'm not much for sports. I got into portables just browsing EGM a while back, and have been following his stuff ever since. I'm a straight edge vegitarian and play piano and drums and recently started playing my brother's old guitar(though I don't play any very well) I guess that is it...

...and glen e. friedmann is really good
check out the new issue of 'revolver' (not a mag i generally read), they have a decent article about circa 1988 NYHC, lots of his stuff in there

this feels like the crap i was put thru on the 1st day of every class i had in college, but oh well.....

i am satan165. i live just outside chicago in a small suburb youve never heard of. i got my start on the 2600 aroudn 1984 i figure. i got the JR when it came out in 87 or whatever and used it probably until almost 1990. ive been into computers since i was young as well, starting with apple IIs, i had an apple IIC+ until i got my first PC in 1993 or so, which was a 55 mhz 486.

ive never been deep into gaming on the PC or any consoles besides my time with the atari when i was younger. i had a super nintendo for a while, but thats it. i finally got an xbox as a gift 2 christmas's ago.

i got this atari anthology for the xbox a few weeks ago which was very disappointing , which led me to purcahse a new 2600 jr off ebay and now im worknig on collecting games as well, specifically activision and US games. i foudn this site less then a week ago and just purchased ben's book and i am planning to build a VCSp.

my other obsessions include: hardcore punk rock (specifically the type discussed in the revolver issue i mentuioned above), underground hiphop (east coast stuff mainly) and writing bizarre and (attempts at) classically absurd fiction. i also collect 40oz bottles and many other cans/bottles, specicailly malt liquor...and i drink a fair amount (dont worry, im almost 28). i am an internet junkie and spend most of my time on the forum @ 40ozmaltliquor.com , and hanging out (in person) with the other people on that board.

my goal for the next 2 months or so is to get my MSDST cert and to build a VCSp. i work for SBC, local/long distance carrier for the midwest area and i love my job a lot.

well thats about enuogh for now. check out www.satan165.com for more of my interests.

hrmm, not to keen on NYHC, :? I'm more into DC HARDCORE and LA Hardcore, like minor threat, beefeater, bad brains, black flag and minutemen
I really dig his pictures of fugazi and black flag. his pictures of public enemy are really good too.

The name is Niklas Norlof. Yes I am swedish and yes my name IS cooler than yours :D I'm 19 and live in Seattle.

Currently I'm enrolled at North Seatle Community College. I know it's not real college but North is a good school if you get the right teacher. I'll be graduating in the Spring and I have applied to the UW for Fall so we'll see. I will be majoring in Technical Communcations. This like the third time I've been sure about what I'm majoring, first Electrical Engineering, the English, and now Tech Comm.

I've been building Mame Cabnet. I'm going to run the Knoppix Mame as that way all my ram won't go to running XP. There is a an even smaller Knoppix which I'm considering but we'll see once I get the cabnet built.

I'm also a huge NES enthusist and am planning to build a NOACp but the SNESp looks so tempting and that Exodus... Let's just take this one project at a time.

Hey everyone, I'm Christopher

I'm 21 and in College and am looking to give the whole console portablization a try.. I dont know too much about electronics and soldering etc yet, but I've taken physics, a good friend went to school to be some sort of electrician so I'm gonna get some pointers and I bought the book yesterday so I hoping I dont electricute myself..

I've already read thru about 2/3 the book and it sounds like an awesome project.. so wish me luck.. I'd like to try the exodus this summer as practice because it doesn't seem as hard as the rest.. and later moving on to an NESp, SNESp, PSp, N64p, and more if I can find some systems cheap.. I'll probably be asking dozens of questions by the time I've got it figured out.. so please be patient with me

Bicostp, 17, MA.

My first attempt at playing games anywhere I wanted? A 9-volt battery connected to a Genesis 2. Ran for about 1/2 an hour!

I'm currently working on a GOAC portable built into a Hip Gear controler.
