EXCELLENT WORK.

If you want to etch you're own PCB's, I can share a link with you to where I got my photo resist board from as well as transparency's. I found Jaycar did not have what I was after.
I also see that you're programming in ASM. That's duh skillz.

Overall, this is excellent work. And like Blaze said, you are are fellow Aussie

Well its finally holidays which has given me time to get most of a board together ready for programming. That being said don't expect results anytime soon. Consider my past rate of progress as a good indicator  Obviously the front side of the board with most of the cool stuff going on is on show but there's some stuff happening on the back. Its only now that I realise that the Australian 50 cent coin shown to give a sense of scale won't serve its purpose for the majority of people who don't know its actual size.

Very nice work.

You should have shown a Gameboy game, or a 9V battery for size reference.

Blurry but very neat

I don't see a clock source. Do you use the internal oscillator?

I wasn't even able to read out the N64 controller with the internal 8 MHz oscillator of the AVR MCU. It seems the internal oscillator of the AVR is way too inaccurate...

Well the internal oscillator in the PIC is accurate enough to differentiate between 1 and 3 microseconds and the way that I do it that's all that's required. My pic is one of many that has a calibration value so even if the internal oscillator is terrible you can get something quite nice.
