Yes, my lovely fiancee was at my house and I asked her to hold the camera for me.

Nice wire arrangement. I'm glad to hear it works, that'd be a pain to have to redo. :(

I would ask my wife but she has a tendency to shake cameras a bit too much!!

epoxy stick and lots of sanding. :) that's the only way to do it.

as in, put the two outter buttons as flush as possible with the case, epoxy it in, then sand down the middle section a bit.
they call me the Queen of Bondo, though maybe i should be called the Queen of Epoxy Putty

I am using the ZN-40 case and i was wondering if it was bondo or expony putty that was used on each side to get rid of the indents? and was the indents on each side filled before or after the controller buttons were put in?

since i'm up, maybe i can help...

for my handyduo case, i used marine epoxy putty and perma poxy (ran out and had to buy more, that's why 2 types). and it's personal preference when filling the sides in before or after. i personally filled them in before i put the controls in. i know that G-force, when making the playmad, chose to fill in the holes after the controls were in. if you do it afterwards, it will take less putty and sanding. but, it might be harder to make sure that the controls line up evenly.

hope this helps!

you bet, also while on there it might be worthwhile to pick up your charger and protection circuit

i purchased my batteries on ebay and now have to buy the charger and protection circuit from www.batteryspace.com so think ahead and purchase all at once for best shipping rates.

best of luck on your project!
