That only happens to me when I watch hd videos. I even let them know. And I know it's not my card because I can play blue rays on here.

Nice. That is still not a pretty case (or even close), but its a big step up from your previous ones.

Really? Like seriously? I'm not being mean about it or anything, but it really isn't "pretty" yet. Sand down all the whatever that stuff is, straighten some of the cuts, actually make the edges look decent (like the screen hole), make some things a little straighter, make the seams disappear, and then paint it all up nice and it would be pretty. It still looks like its just part way through the construction process. Just trying to help. Congrats on another gamecube that can't go to the airport :P .

That's the definition of OCD: Fixing every little scratch and whatnot. Whatever, I don't need your recognition.

No, that follows the definition of persistence, patience and beauty.
ShockSlayer wrote:Whatever, I don't need your recognition.
If that were true, what propelled you to create a topic regarding your completion? As human beings, we strive for recognition and appraisal; it's unhealthy to deny that. Neildo_64 brought up some good criticism, anyway.

The flash has an interesting way to present things. And besides, its too much work, and is absolutely pointless to me.

Now there's OCD, or persistence. Whatever you prefer.

Okay, just quit it. It's like this EVERY TIME ShockSlayer makes a portable. Someone doesn't like the case, SS doesn't care, other person flames, SS gets defensive. This is all really annoying. :x

This is the way ShockSlayer makes his portables. He prefers function over form. If you don't like it, leave.

@thewise1

A bit of clarification on the voltages:

Yes, its possible to run the gamecube's 12v line off of ~5v, but the GC powerboard will only go as low as 10v. So, unless we come up with a working way the run the gc off of some regulators(TI cards didn't work for me), then we are stuck with the original powerboard.

SS
I got one of the platinums without a power board to turn on with a 100mAh 9.6V battery after I bypassed the fan. Unfortunately, it didn't finish loading before the voltage drop cut the video output. lol

This is one of your best SS, If you do another one you should paint it original gamecube colors like Indigo.

I'm pretty surprised that hasn't been done already; would be cool to see. :)
