Sand down all the whatever that stuff is, straighten some of the cuts, actually make the edges look decent (like the screen hole), make some things a little straighter, make the seams disappear, and then paint it all up nice and it would be pretty. It still looks like its just part way through the construction process. Just trying to help. Congrats on another gamecube that can't go to the airport .

A bit of clarification on the voltages:

Yes, its possible to run the gamecube's 12v line off of ~5v, but the GC powerboard will only go as low as 10v. So, unless we come up with a working way the run the gc off of some regulators(TI cards didn't work for me), then we are stuck with the original powerboard.

I got one of the platinums without a power board to turn on with a 100mAh 9.6V battery after I bypassed the fan. Unfortunately, it didn't finish loading before the voltage drop cut the video output. lol
