If you know how to do it, any chance you could show how to solder to a battery without it going KERSPLODE?

Yeah, skyone's got it. You could also unplug your iron, wait 20 seconds, and solder the wires on.

Episode 5 will be comming out this summer. It will be geared towards another forum's requests though.

How to solder tiny wires on tiny contacts that are very close together with a big tip?

I'd love to be able to do that with my Dad's suxz0r5 iron.

Meh, i'm getting a 40-watt Weller soon anyways. 8)

Neat, I was just having soldering problems with my portable TV. I hope this helps.

These are some bad examples of soldering. Don't do those.

To avoid a "cold solder joint" add a bit of solder to it if you reheat it.

Remember to heat up both the pad and the wire at the same time, so you get an electrical connection.

If I get my modchip today, I will do a special Xbox editon!

My harddrive came today, but modchip didn't. Infact, Divineo just emailed me and said it just shipped today (even though it said ships in 24 hours, and I ordered on Thursday). It's comming from the east coast of Canada, so it has to go through customs, so it is going to take a while.

Got my chip today, I got footage of me explaining how to take it apart and how to solder the header on the chip, but I couldn't get me putting it on the Xbox, me flashing the chip, or putting the new HDD in.

Just a word of caution: it's going to be HUGE as takeing the Xbox apart takes a while.

The unedited videos are 356 MB in total, I hope that the final file size will be around 60 MB.

Here's just a something I made in XBtool Preset Maker, I had to plug in the values into XBtool to make a BIOS with that color logo. Hopefully the real thing looks as good as the simulated version.

I uploaded the uncompiled video to PoD to give to my friend who is using something better than Windows Movie Maker to compile it.

Watch out (maybe tonight) it will be done!
