I got a free Compaq Presario 7470. Came with the original screen, all the books and papers, original keyboard and mouse, and most of the original supporting software except for the Windows 98 disk (I have a win 98 disk already anyways). It also came with a Windows 95 install disk and the Windows 95 manual w/ product key.

I'm reinstalling Windows 98 on it since the person I got it from had installed Windows 95 on it after getting it. Edit: I've seemed to have screwed up the install some how. But I try and fix it tomorrow.

Ahh this is win.

I got a Playstation 3 20GB for FREE. (The owner says it had YLOD, so was just giving it away. He thought it couldn't be fixed, and he opened it making the warranty void. I fixed it. I fixed it by touching it and turning it on. It WORKS!)

Also got a PS2 Silver for free. (The owner says it wouldn't read disks. I just cleaned the laser, and it works fine.)

EDIT: Will post pics later.

Win indeed. That has PS2 compatibility, correct?

It wasn't the super dumb friend. I couldn't do that to him anymore, as he's actually a good guy. (Hes there when you need him and such.)

The was a new family that moved across the street, and they had a power outage, and the ps3 didnt "work" after that. So, they had a giant yardsale (Probably to buy a new PS3), and I got there first. Chatted up the guy, and got it. Hell yea!

And yes, it has ps2 compatibility.

I went to one of the Local Antique Stores in the small town I live it.

There was a Microsoft Sidewinder for $1 in one of the booths. But there was a little sign that said everything (in this booth) 30% off. So I got the Sidewinder for 70 cents! The Sidewinder is in basically Mint Condition.

Are the sidewinders really at all desirable? I've got three or four with the 15-pin serial connectors. I never use them, since I so rarely game on the PC.

Got a good deal on one PC game, though. Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened for $3. One of the best SH/Cthulhu crossovers I've ever seen.

I have that one. It's comfortable enough and built well, but it has no start or select buttons and it only has 2 shoulder buttons. :(
