1. Does a SNES have a power supply unit?
2. About mounting the controller board, there's something i must ask, which i can't explain in words, so i'll explain in pictures:

If you dissable referrer loggin with the web developer firefox extension, the anti hotlink crap is disabled.

2 ways you either cut the board and rejoin the traces (very hard) or you add momentary on buttons to the traces (easy)

I think that it is just as easy to cut the board and solder wires between the 2 pieces.

No, if you do it the "easy" way, you can put the tact switches anywhere, but you still have to run wires to every switch, so it doesn't matter if you cut, or use tact switches.

so basically to build a N64 portable i just have to first wire everything like this (click for a larger pic):

then i wire the buttons.

And last i make the case.

Is that all (i hope the answer is yes)

P.S. this is a very stoopid question, and i think i know the answer, but in the wiring diagram, are the red and blue wire-shaped thingz positive and negative wires?

My answer: yes, duh.

also, do i absolutely have to use a power converter? wut will happen if i don't.
