Desolder your first 2 wires (just to be safe), then use your multimeter's continuality setting to test if the top hole is for the first wire or second wire. It will probably be the first, but it varies if you have some weird company's wires. If your multimeter doesn't have a continuality setting, stick a resitor in the top hole, and do the same as I said for continuality. If you don't have a multimeter, shove an LED in the top hole, then connect your battery to the LED and wire, when it comes on, it is the right wire.
