that's rather odd coming from you, bacteria. you are often one to tear down a poorly made case or to tell someone to go elsewhere and talk about cake.

I don't tear down people's systems at all, no idea where that comment comes from. I am very supportive of other people's work.

Getting rather disillusioned here though at the moment, frankly. For whatever reason, this site is getting increasingly hostile these days and less fun to be involved in...

I honestly don't get what people are complaining about the case for, It looks really nice and professional. what are people expecting from someone who builds things out of their garage. Before I came to Ben Heck, I would have thought workmanship like that could only come from a factory.

Engadget wrote:...and he's now done it again with his new so-called Mini-Platform Plug 'n' Play Console System, which boasts the same, uh, distinct look we've come to expect. At the moment, this one relies solely on a variety of TV plug 'n' play game systems for its gaming options, which Bacteria converted into a more convenient cart form, although he also promises to make a GBA add-on for the system "in due course." As you can see in the video after the break, despite appearances, the system appears to work quite well, and you can even find step-by-step plans for building your own by hitting up the read link below...

oh...?

The SNES system is nothing more than some velcro and 2 minutes work, why post that? It doesn't qualify. At least I guess you didn't take a hammer, chisel and blowtorch to the casing this time. Image

As to the rest of the system, stacking one unmodded system on top of another and connecting with chunky cable connectors making a pile of ugly boxes and wires is hardly a mod per-say either and certainly isn't a double system, any more than plugging two consoles into your home TV at the same time is a double system; and DVD player, and SKY box - ohh, quad system everybody!! Image

Oh dear, can do so much better, D-. I didn't put the 1 star on the YouTube rating as I didn't bother to log in after seeing it to give it 1 star (lowest rating), obviously someone else did that instead.

Sorry, I was diplomatic on the N64p, but this is way, way off the ugly scale. There, I said it. Sorry - time to dodge I guess Image

I know you are capable of good work...

bashing an idea of a member:

and do you forget the thread between you and Gordon1 that was deleted in the 2 week revert? how you flat out told him what he wanted to do was impossible and quite rudely?

and for the cake comment:

You are offensive, mothatrucka (apt name BTW), unlike anyone else here. Why don't you leave this community-spirited site and post on Engadget instead, where you can discuss about "cake"? :D

hailrazer - Interesting design and nicely done, I can see why you called it what you did, seems apt.
why can't you just ignore something instead of sounding so childish?

Lovablechevy is far correct, bacteria. This increasing hostility you speak of is simply caused by your arrogant/competitive spirit. If that's all you have to contribute to this forum, perhaps you should do as you're threatening and leave this "less fun" forum. Perhaps it would lessen the intensity around here, as well. :|

In any case, this topic has gotten way off topic (not to say I haven't contributed to it). Personal posts like these can be avoided by using the PM system, or any other private chat.

Besides, this topic is useless, now that the voting thread is open.
