Does this upgrde it to 3.90, or does it put a custom firmware on it?

Looks like someone didn't read the whole thing. :(

Anyway, if you had read it all, it gives 3.90 M33-3. Custom firmware.

Ok guys i really need help, i have a psp slim running 3.93 ofw i have been trying to get ofw on it for 2 days now. i managed to make a tool battery by removing pin 5 and when placed in my psp the power light comes on but nothing else happenes

i also recently brought a battery converter and borrowed my mates psp phat running ofw 3.73, by converting her battery using the converter, the psp did exactly the same as my slim psp ( green power light on but blank screen)

i have also tried so many different mms files its starting to do my head in, can anyone please help. Ju

OK ive done it, lol. Dont ask me how i left it on and its telling me its running 3.90 m33-3 Thanks so much

i mean like, the psp here was a 3.90
i have 3.71.

so if i follow the steps ill still get 3.90 M33?

yep, no matter what firmware you start with it always ends in 3.90 M33 using this tutorial

just letting everyone know that there is now 4.01 M33-2 on DarkAlex's site http://dark-alex.org/index_psp.php my psp still has a broken screen but i installed it on my cuz's psp slim and everything seems to still work, and all you need to do to update is to put the UPDATE folder in the PSP/Game/ Folder, then turn on your psp, go to game, find the update and open

EDIT: I forgot to say that you first need to update to 4.01 M33 before you can do the 4.01 M33-2. Or an even easier way is to go into recovery (hold R while booting) and set M33 network update to enabled, then go all the way to the left in the XMB and choose network update.

Where can I get PSP Grader v0.2 now? I've searched Google and apparently PSP-HQ has it, but I can't figure out how to download it...
