Ok, I'll put a wire to bypass the 7808, and after, I'll plug on 6 AA batterie 2000 mah, 7.2 volt. It should work great that way right ? (I won't explode my LCD ?
). I'll give you my progress on this one. For the Mega Joy 2, would 7.2 volt courant work well or it would stop working or his there somekind of converter for this ?
(I'm really freaked out since I fried my last NOAC unit
)

Thanks, I had lot of school stuff to gives, but all is laying on my table. Now I have to check on how to plug an original controller on the mega joy (I have the schematics, but not sure I understand all yet, I'll check). After, I'll have to get both working correctly on battery (tried to by pass the 7808, but I guess the wire I used wasn't quite good because it didn't work
. Anyway, I'll get back on the project soon, and ask all the things that are bothering me. No way I don't finish it, I have buy all the material and it costed me more than enough for the moment
. Happy to see someone interested in my project
. Well, I'll draw a schematic of all my wire, and ask before I do it, the first fried MegaJoy maded me more crazy with the board security than before
. Anyway, progress soon
Ok, little update I now have all my component working together on 6 volt (5 1.2 volt AA battery). Thanks for all the help, It will have an AV IN and AV out I have bough the plugs and all. Anyway, all is wired, but now, I gotta make an original controller work with it. And if I achieve it, well I will only have to do my holes in the case, paint it and it will work
.
lol, tried to do it since yesterday. I was first plugging it on the board with the place for cartdridge, didn't got it to work. Tried again on the other side, it wouldn't want to open, so I removed the wire. ANyway, what I want to do is plug a full controller, I don't even want to cut the parts of it. (except the casing). If anyone could help me, it would be awesome because after I get those to work, I drill my hole in the case, I paint it and I build it

You need to find out where the controller pinouts are on the NOAC. There quite a few versions out there so their pinout's vary. Check out Doomportables.org for some pinout examples. You basically are going to take the Clock, Latch, Data, and Ground wires from the Nintendo controller and solder them onto those pinouts. Hope this helps, good luck and keep us posted!jeep wrote:lol, tried to do it since yesterday. I was first plugging it on the board with the place for cartdridge, didn't got it to work. Well ok, the megajoy don't want to work anymore on 6 volt, but it does on 9 volt, so I'll probably try with 7.2 volt. Anyway, I have my second american NES controller port working well. But before cutting the second ribbon of wire, I want to clear a couple of things. I have the things from 1 to 9 done, I suppose the five at the bottom are going to the first controller. For the audio and video, I know where to plug it too. For the reset, I'm not quite sure where to plug it, and I have NO idea where I put the electricity. I means, by where to I send it ? Once I'll know, I'll cut that last ribbon and solder all the wire.I'll also do the cartrige connection. I'll cut the case, and build it and put nice pics
. Thanks

Now, I don't get it. I don't understand anymore my problem with electricity. Anyway, they both work well on 6 volt, but if both are linked, and on the same power, it mess up, some electricity seems to simply go through the audio-video circuit and do a shortcut. I also still need an answer to my other question. Thanks
